William Addiss

William has over 30 years of management experience in the finance industry. He has designed and delivered courses in capital markets, fixed income and derivative instruments. He has also delivered introduction to finance courses for non-financial professionals and graduate induction programs.

CURRENT POSITION

The principal/owner of Amherst Financial Trading, William develops and facilitates training programs in fixed income, derivatives and capital markets targeted to banks, broker/dealers, regulatory authorities and asset management firms. These include Deutsche Bank, Citibank, Kuwait Investment Authority, the SEC and FINRA.

PAST POSITIONS

As a managing director/executive vice president for Lehman Brothers, he was responsible for marketing, trading and distribution of fixed income securities. He had been national sales manager and developed and implemented sales and business plans in fixed income. For E.F. Hutton he was a national product manager for taxable fixed income and a commodity sales specialist. He has lectured at the Wharton/Arresty Institute and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
