Michael Carr

Michael Carr is an American investor, a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and a contributing editor for Winning Investor Daily. He is a longtime member of the Market Technicians Association (MTA), where he serves as the editor of its newsletter, Technically Speaking.

CURRENT POSITION

He writes newsletters based on technical analysis for BanyanHill.com. These services combine seasonal trends in stocks with relative strength and other technical indicators.

PAST POSITIONS

He managed money professionally for several years before retiring to devote his full-time efforts to research and writing about the markets. Mike was responsible for investor accounts worth more than $200 million and was co-manager of two mutual funds. He has been a featured speaker at numerous industry events including the Money Show in Las Vegas and Trader Tech West in San Francisco. Mike has also spoken to local chapters of the American Association of Individual Investors and professionals in the Market Technicians Association, the CFA Institute and the Financial Planners Association.
